This is AT&T's UNIX SYSV r2 source code. The base target here is the VAX. R2 includes lots of BSD addons, but TCP/IP was not one of them. For some reason in their infinite wisdom AT&T wasn't big on TCP/IP, probably because it was too open. Hackers from all over the world wanted this very file, there was even espionage from the Soviet Union to steal this. So here we are. Enjoy Comrades!

This is AT&T's swan song of UNIX, SYSVr4. The base platform here is the i386. SYSVr4 incorporates bits from 4.3 BSD, SunOS, and Xenix. Finally TCP/IP is included in the base. SUN traded al their SunOS and hard work to use this as the basis for Solaris.
