The Black Cauldron 2.10
The Black Cauldron is an adventure game designed by Al Lowe of Sierra On-Line and released in 1986. The game is based on the Disney film The Black Cauldron, which was itself based on the Chronicles of Prydain novel of the same name by Lloyd Alexander. It was made shortly after the first King's Quest game, so it resembled that adventure in many ways.

The Gene Machine 1.07
The Gene Machine is a graphical point-and-click action adventure game, originally released in 1996 and published by Vic Tokai. It was developed by Divide By Zero. It describes the adventures of a fictional British gentleman named Piers Featherstonehaugh (pronounced "fanshaw") and his manservant Mossop. The plot shared many common elements with Jules Verne's Around the World in Eighty Days, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea and From the Earth to the Moon, as well as many other literary and historical references to Victorian England, such as Sherlock Holmes, Treasure Island, The Time Machine, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Jack the Ripper and many others.

The Global Dilemma: Guns or Butter 1.0
In The Global Dilemma, your task is to manage the "global dilemma" --the conflicting needs of the military and industry-- by allocating the production of various commodities (e.g. using the iron ore to produce more weapons will decrease the amount of iron available for industrial goods) and managing the army to defend against/conquer the opposing kingdom. It was the first "wargame" I recall that focuses on the tradeoffs between war and peace that arises from limited resources (and in this sense the game is much more "realistic" than games like Civilization in which resources are unlimited). The computer AI on hard level is also one of the best for its time. Highly recommended. ++++NEEDS DOSBOX TO RUN ON A MODERN PC++++THE MANUAL (a PDF) IS INCLUDED!

The Manhole (Sega Tera Drive Version)
This is a copy of Cyan's The Manhole for the Sega Tera Drive. This is the second game known to exist for this platform (the other being Puzzle Construction, which was thought to be the only game for this platform before I found this). I recovered this from a hard drive in a Tera Drive I purchased - the original installation media seems to be lost forever. This version of the game seems to be a port of the FM Towns version, and only uses the Mega Drive capabilities of the Tera Drive to play FM music (unlike Puzzle Construction, whose "play" mode runs a game on the Mega Drive side).
