Works, with a whopping 16MB of RAM.
Sadly, "No VMware Tools package exists for DOS or Windows 3.1x guest operating systems".
This means copying to the VM is challenging, as well as adjusting screen res. For this reason, a DosBox version might be a better bet? (Running DosBox in a Win2K or XP VM.)
