MS-DOS 1.25 [CDI DOT] 1.25
This is the adaptation of MS-DOS 1.25 for the Computer Devices Inc "DOT" computer. The DOT computer is a unique x86 based portable/luggable that used a very early 3.5" disk drive, featured a built in printer, a built in terminal mode, and a small wide screen CRT. (Wide screen CRTs were also used on some portable word processors). Reportedly only 500 units were produced. The 3.5" disk drive used is an extremely early revision that used only 70 tracks at a different track spacing. This means a typical 3.5" floppy drive can not read or write disks for this system. The disks are MFM encoded, 512 byte sectors, 1:1 interleave, single sided, 8 sectors, using 70 tracks. Important: This disk will not boot on an IBM PC, standard clone, or PC emulator. The file system is FAT, but it is formatted for DOS 1.x, and will not open in tools like WinImage.
