It is one of the handiest and most useful file management tools for the DOS enviornment and can execute many of the standard DOS commands from it menu.
Sadly, it will not work with any version of Windows after 98SE

It is a file manager-type environment for DOS. QDOS will allow attribute changes, file copy, file move, and many other file operations. I believe there is also a built in editor also. The original developer (this was back when apps were often written by one person) passed away soon after version 3.0.
