The files for Microprose Lightspeed do not have to be extracted to diskettes. Just extract all files to a common folder and play the game from there. There is no install required. However, the game is copy protected. During the game, you must complete words that are available in the manual at the location specified. If you do not provide the correct word, the game is aborted. If you do not have a manual, one solution is run Neverlock, which is still available on-line. Neverlock adds a loader program that allows the player to just answer anything to the copy protect question. Game runs fine in my old 486 PC.
