I've restored the backup to the PS/1. It has Dos 4.00 and Windows 3.00. Also Programs called Systutor and Prodpack and Works 2.00 for Dos

The PS/1 was the first PC that I bought. I learned a lot about computing from it.Like don't delete the DOS directory. I read somewhere that only 5,000 units were made. As I'm in Ireland, it must be a pretty rare machine here. I'll put the PS/1 into service and see whats on it. I think Works 2.? is
Hi Rauli, The PC was an IBM PS/1 TYPE 2121, a 386sx with 40 Mb disk and 2 Meg of ram. Software loaded was IBM DOS 4.0 and Windows 3.0. The file with the wina20.386 was, I think, the 1st backup disk from the PC that I made. There were no disks other than a Disl labelled IBM DOS for PS/1, Version R4.01 I seem to recall that the only the IBMBIO.COM IBMDOS.COM were different. I dont have that PC loaded so can't check at the moment. I'll answer any questions as best i can

Thanks, I downloaded and it boots and works. Just 2 questions: 1 - Why "4.01"? It says 4.00 and programs recognise it as 4.00. 2 - In 1st ZIP (with single files) there was a WINA20.386, but it is not in this ZIP (with disk image). Is it in your boot disk? Anyway, thanks again (there are many people interested in DOS 4.xx versions :)
