I'm sure some already mentioned that somewhere below by someone else.
This saved me from digging out all those old floppies and reinstalling. That would have been a time consuming mess! Ah - the old days of proper word processing.

Never used WinImage. I downloaded the 11 disks as Disk 1, Disk 2....Disk 11 in a WP51Disks folder on my HD. Then copied each to a separate 1.44 MB Disk as 1 thru 11. So if i take each disk and put it in the A: drive, and go to command prompt in Windows and type C:\label A:WORDPERFECT and hit enter, and do this separately from all 11 disks, then I can use these disks in my A: drive to install WP51?.

You can use WinImage for this task. Google it.

I stored 11 disks on hard drive, put them in a folder called "Wordperfect" then opened disk 1, clicked on install.exe, started the install process, but when it asks me to insert another disk and I hit enter, then nothing happens. It can not find another disk beyond Disk 1. How do I label the volume as Wordperfect, like you said - if not by putting all the disks in a "Wordperfect" folder?

But I could not get the above install set installed - even made up 11 disketes and tried, with no success. Se my previouys post -it worked.
