This title is one of the most excellent Star Trek games ever produced. In it you take on the roles of Kirk, McCoy, Spock and the ever-present RedShirt. As a higher end adventure game the main objective is to solve the various puzzles presented in the away missions. Some of these are unusually tricky and it may take a while to work through them. (Especially since some do not seem to have very good in-game clues.) The main area where it diverges from other similar titles such as KQ5 with which it shares a close button interface is in the ship to ship battles. These are all done in a first person bridge view and run like a fairly typical space shooter of the early 90s game period. All in all an excellent game and highly recommended.
