Quattro 1.0

Category: Office
Year: 1987
Description:Borland Quattro 1.0 proved that we could have perfect Lotus 1-2-3 Release 2.01 compatibility without all the headaches of fighting with a tough learning curve. The operator could have his choice between the efficient native menu tree or the one that followed the 1-2-3 structure. As a result, running macros made within 1-2-3 was a walk in the "computer park." Quattro still means getting our work done faster and more easily is not just a wish or a dream. Its super-intelligent recalc feature allows us to avoid recalculating the entire worksheet just because we added a new number or formula to our grid. That alone makes it worth trying. Consider how it also never requires running an installation program to set it up. Simply put all the files into their own directory or folder, and the package is ready to go to work for you! Type "Q" and press enter. After that, customizing the settings is an easy step. Unlike 1-2-3 Release 2.01, Quattro allows printing graphs without leaving the worksheet. The same convenience applies to translating files, which means you are never cut off from the outisde world. Quattro also offers the operator the ability to customize the menus, which is rare from any program for any operating system. The 5.25-inch edition included four 360k disks, and so they are presented in their original and EXACT form here by having their own zip files for this posting.
