Mustang bought Qmodem, Xmodem, YModem and it's associated software from a company by the name of the "Forbin Project" (the first computer movie from 1968). The "Forbin Project" marketed BBS software for Dial-Up Modems from 1984 to 1995. At that time, Qmodem, Xmodem and Ymodem were popular communications protocols used by BBS's to logon, download and communicate with telephone modems popular at the time, well before the internet and netwoking protocols were established. Mustang bought the software and the company "The forbin Project" in 1992, and relabeled the software. I still own an original boxed copy.

Pretty cool old DOS communications prog for BBS use. Has some decent emulator support as well. Very configurable for multiple external protocols such as Puma, HSLink, Zmodem and others.
