Office software. Lotus were amongst the first to create tabels and graphs. (as far as I know even before Microsoft!) Ami-Pro was (is) an uncomplicated Office programme. I used to write my Invoices with Ami Pro. It enables you to create tabels within letters etc.

AmiPro -- is more, than just a wordprocessor. It's a kind of Entry Level Desktop Publishing System. I used to use it since the release 2.0 up to 3.1. Yes, it's easy to use. I would say it was at 90th the revolutionary software. And if compare prices of it with MS Word (at that time it was 1.1 and 2.0), AmiPro was almost three times cheaper. All in all you can use it today. It works with frames very good. The things I was able to do in AmiPro I wasn't able in any other software of this kind.
Unfortunately Lotus Development gave up on it and made this WordPro to satisfy the market demands... IMHO: This was a huge mistake of them and one of the signs of the beginning of the end of their MS Office analog which called SmartSuite.

Nice and simple word processor. Better then Word because it places images where you put them, formatting is easy and the drawing tool is also easy to use and allows export into BMP format. I still use it after 15 years when Word gives up . You can convert Amipro files into Word format using Staroffice which can read and write both.
